This rugged fiber optic cable is built with tight-buffered optical fibers, water-blocking aramid yarn, and a layer of helically wound steel wires between inner and outer sheaths. Its all-terrain durability makes it suitable for industrial, security, and outdoor-to-indoor network applications.

From inside to outside, the cable is structured as follows:

  • Tight Buffered Optical Fibers
    • 900μm tight buffer for easy stripping and direct termination

    • Fiber types: G.652.D, G.657.A1/A2, OM2/OM3/OM4

    • Fiber count: 2 to 48 cores, color-coded

  • Water-Blocking Aramid Yarn

    • Surrounds the fiber bundle for tensile strength and moisture resistance

  • Rip Cord

    • Placed under the sheath for quick and easy jacket removal during installation

  • Inner Sheath

    • Typically LSZH or PE, protects fiber unit and isolates it from armor

  • Steel Wire Armor

    • Full-circle steel wires, helically wound for maximum crush resistance, rodent protection, and mechanical durability

  • Outer Sheath

    • UV-resistant, flame-retardant LSZH or TPU jacket

    • Custom colors available (black standard)

  • Typical Diameter: ~6–13 mm, depending on fiber count

  • Operating Temperature: -40°C to +70°C
